Naturally cleaning your home is best for your family and the environment. We all know this, yet we still purchase the expensive, chemical-filled cleaning products. All-Purpose Cleaners

All-purpose cleaners are the most popular products since they clean just about any surface. Instead of buying chemical ridden products, you can naturally make your own. You can find many different recipes online, but there are a couple that are pretty simple. Put ½ tsp. of washing soda and a dab of liquid soap into a spray bottle with 2 cups of very hot tap water. Shake to dissolve. You don’t have to worry about an expiration date because this mixture will not go bad. Another recipe for a good clean is putting two cups of club soda in a spray bottle.

Clean Your Carpets Naturally

It’s not hard to keep your carpet clean with naturally made products. To clean and disinfect your carpet, you can blend 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1 cup of borax, and 1 cup of cornmeal. Sprinkle this mixture over the rug and rub it in with a cloth. Make sure not to dump this mixture onto the carpet since large amounts of cornmeal could clog your vacuum. Make sure to leave this on your carpet for at least a few hours or overnight, then vacuum. If you need to remove stains from your carpet, you can mix 1/4 cup of liquid castile soap and 1/3 cup of water in a blender until foamy. Then apply the mixture over the stain and leave it to sit for a few minutes. Then come back and scrub the stain with a brush or rag. If you are dealing with an acidic stain from coffee, wine, or juice, then club soda will be able to help.

Remove Mold

Mold can be very dangerous and is not something to mess around with. It can cause health issues for your family, that’s why you need to take care of the problem as soon as possible. However, you do not need harsh chemicals that are also dangerous to use; you can clean mold up naturally. Combine 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide or white vinegar with 1 cup of water. Then spray it on the mold, and do not rinse it off. You can also treat mold with a spray mixture of 2 tsp. of tea tree oil and 2 cups of water.

Now you know three great ways to clean your home naturally. Remember you can easily create an all-purpose cleaner to disinfect most surfaces. Also, remember that there are many ways to clean carpets and remove harsh stains. And finally, remember you can safely and easily remove mold with an all-natural cleaner. Keeping your home clean with naturally made products is safer for you and the environment and can actually be cheaper. This is why you need to start cleaning naturally now.
